How we handle your details
We are a small community library run by one person. Here is everything we do with what you give us.
What we keep
Your name, mobile number and — if you give it — your email address. Plus which books you have reserved and borrowed.
What we use it for
Running the library, and nothing else. We text you when a book is ready, and we know who has what so we can get books back. We never sell or share your details, and we do not send marketing.
How long we keep it
We delete your contact details around a year after you last borrow something. We may keep a count of how many books went out, with no names attached.
What other people can see
Nothing. The waiting list shows how many people are ahead of you, never who they are.
Removing yourself
Open your personal link and use "Remove my details", or ask at any event. If you still have a book out we will keep a minimal record until it comes back, then delete that too.
